We had a busy day today. AJ broke the big news to Pam and Arthur over Skype. They were pleasantly surprised. After I finally got around to getting ready, we went out for the day.
First we visited the book store where I bought a few children's books on both potty training and new babies.
Next we visited a thrift store called The Other Mother and I couldn't resist buying a few maternity items. I wanted to get a t-shirt for Arthur that said Big Brother on it. But I had no luck there.
After that, we headed to the Metro Center mall where AJ did a workout with his Army recruit group (as a side note: AJ is coming along in his workouts quite nicely! He is a pro at running!).
Arthur and I went strolling to the sporting goods store and back over to the mall where we walked aimlessly until I could figure out where the maternity store was. Once more, I could not leave without some leggings and a t-shirt.
Arthur was such a good boy the whole time! He is such a sweetheart. Even when he is being mischievous!
When we finally met up with AJ, we topped off the trip with a shared food court meal.
Things the new baby has been craving

- Milk

It sounds like you had a really fun day! I am surprised at how good Bubbs is almost every time he goes out. He is so much fun to take places.
ReplyDeleteI bet A.J. is a natural when it comes to running, he doesn't have long legs for nothing! :D
I'm going to have to get you a cute maternity something or other here in Japan and send it to you. :D
I hear in Japan, they have buttons that say "please don't push. I have a baby in my belly." I read that women riding public transit wear them. Just a thought.
